
Overview
Cyprus is actively engaging in the European Health Data Space (EHDS) to enhance the use of health data for research, innovation, and healthcare. Led by the National eHealth Authority (NeHA), this initiative aims to strengthen the European Health Union through improved data access, governance, and infrastructure.

Work Packages
The project will establish a national framework in Cyprus for cross-border health data use under EHDS regulations, supporting research, innovation, and healthcare. Key activities include monitoring progress, participating in HealthData@EU governance, and ensuring sustainability. It also focuses on implementing a Health Dataset Catalogue, secure data processing, and improving data quality.

Project Outcomes
The project ensures sustainability and continuity of digital business capabilities. Functional data access management solutions, a secure processing environment, and a national Health Dataset Catalogue are implemented, connecting Cyprus to the HealthData@EU infrastructure.
